Latest Nvidia Drivers Reportedly Damaging HardwareMany users on different forums around the internet are reporting that the latest Nvidia 191.07 video drivers are causing
hardware failures. The failures range from video cards to motherboards. The most affected systems seem to be those
using the NF200 chip. There is a huge thread over at the eVGA forums about the issue, and as of yet there is no definitive fix. Users are beginning to resort to RMA'ing their motherboards
and video cards. Apparently using an earlier driver version and even reformatting and reinstalling the operating system
does not fix the issue, leaving only hardware failure as the possible cause. As of yet, no word from Nvidia regarding
this issue. The good folks at eVGA have been able to duplicate the issue and are working on the cause/remedy.
Stay tuned!
