The much anticipated Ubuntu 11.10 has been released and is available for download. One major change in this release is the implementation of the Unity interface, a break away from Gnome. Other changes of note are the e-mail client, the default is now Thunderbird in favor of Evolution, and the use of the new 3.0 Kernel.
